Fees and Policies

*Strictly Ideal Protein visits with no medical complaints are not billed to insurance.

Insurance Billing

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company for services at our clinic. You will be responsible for any copays due at the time of service if you have met your deductible. If you have a deductible that has not been met at the time of your visit, you are responsible for the cost of the visit at time of service until deductible is met. Please consult with your individual insurance policy to verify your naturopathic coverage, so that you are aware of your responsibilities. Insurance may not cover all fees, and some labs are considered investigational. We will do our best to make you aware of these non-covered fees ahead of time, so that you can choose if you would like to go forward. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to understand your insurance benefits.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment, 24 hours’ notice is required in order to allow time to fill the empty appointment. If you do not give 24 hours’ notice, you are liable for a cancellation fee of $35. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Standard office visits

Visits with our providers are based on standard medical coding for evaluation and management, which involves both complexity of the case and time spent with the patient. Because of this, it is difficult to give an exact amount charged per office visit if billing insurance. If you are not using insurance for the visit, our first office visit will be $295 with Dr. Dagenais, and return office visits are $207 with Dr. Dagenais. Phone/Skype consultations are a minimum of $45. Please call the front desk for specific questions about charges.

Dispensary

We have a large high quality dispensary available to our patients for herbal, nutritional, and homeopathic supplements. As a patient, you can purchase these items tax-free as they are a prescription from us. Unfortunately insurance will not cover these supplements, but usually you can use a pre-tax health savings account (HSA) or a flexible spending account. Be sure to ask your provider for a prescription that you can send in for reimbursement. We choose the highest quality supplements to ensure that they are free of chemicals, additives, and heavy metals.
